The early settler arrival, birth and marriage databases are simultaneously searched for matches to the entered family surname. Using our advanced processing technology, the records found are automatically sorted into family groups to help you visualize the line you're researching. This should make it easier to construct branches of your family tree and complete some of your family group sheets.
Most of the spelling errors and inconsistencies in the original source documents have been corrected. Any that remain may give useful but out-of-order search results. If you discover any of these errors please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Many of the unregistered marriages and births are included. Note that 'Ade' is frequently used as an abbreviation for Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, whereas the bracketed '(Ade)' refers to the BDM registration district of Adelaide.
If you are unable to find the arrival you require, see our directory of SA shipping & migration resources.
